children..
On one side, there are those who believe in homeopathic treatments utilizing natural health remedies are a safe way to treat a child. In fact,

Homeopathic physicians differ with this assessment. They believe the words “safe” and “natural” are not mutually exclusive. For example,
take ADD or Attention Deficit Disorder. For years, doctors have been using the drug Ritalin to treat ADD children. However, we have learned
that Ritalin can cause more harm then good. In fact one study showed that one out of every twelve children taking Ritalin could develop
chromosome abnormalities. What, then, is the solution? Homeopathic physicians believe that natural vitamins and minerals can be used
to treat this disorder. But who's right?
The problem with natural remedies is that there are no clear-cut answers as to whether they are safe and will achieve the desired
results. While there are those herbalists who would disagree with this assessment, the bottom line is simple: What works for adults may not
necessarily work for kids.
This means you need to exercise extreme caution whenever using natural remedies to treat childhood illnesses. Some of these natural
remedies can cause side effects, especially if your doctor has prescribed some medication as the two remedies can interact to produce
serious results.
Every parent has to decide what is best for his or her child. Whether it is natural health remedies or prescribed medications, you
should carefully research into the side effects before using them with your child.
